Crepis sibthorpiana

Crepis sibthorpiana - named after the botanist John Sibthorp (1758 - 1796) - is a fairly rare endemic to western and central Crete and grows in calcareous cliffs, rocky places, scree, doline bottoms from 1200 m all the way to the highest summits.
The plants are generally dwarfs (2 to 5cm as in the pictures above) but can reach a size of up to 15cm at lower altitudes and flower from June to September
